Florascope
Discover Your Flower Sign

Helen Brown Gentry & Sally Tagg
David Bateman Ltd
$NZ24.95

FlorascopeSTARTED your Christmas shopping yet? Here's a lovely new book that would make an ideal gift for a gardening friend - or indeed anyone with a sense of humour. Florascope takes the traditional astrological signs and substitutes them with flower signs. Aries is now tiger lily; Taurus is now magnolia, and so on. It's a fun little book, with pointers on money, health, love (tiger lilies are apparently romantic and adoring, even if they are a little possessive).

Florascope doesn't take itself too seriously - it's meant to bring a smile - and it is lavishly illustrated with Auckland photographer Sally Tagg's stunning close up pictures.

Florascope is extremely well-priced too, given how beautiful it is.
