This is the largest ever checklist of garden plants in Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. It contains 60 000 plant names and descriptions including 22 000 botanical names no longer officially in use and 10 000 popular names. An illustrated botanical glossary explains the terms used and lists the most commonly encountered Latin names and their definitions.

This dictionary is a must for all serious gardeners and should be in the library of every major garden.
