Easy OrchidsA RATHER pricey guide to growing orchids indoors and out, this compact book seems better suited to the coffee table than the garden shed. Nonetheless, it is written in a down-to-earth style that should appease would-be orchid growers put off by weightier tomes.

Easy Orchids is divided in chapters focusing on orchids to grow on windowsills, other species for outdoors, and exotic options for those who are hard-to-satisfy.

There's plenty of practical orchid know-how too, with troubleshooting tips and a liberal dose of useful growing pointers scattered throughout the book.
