Water Gardens — American Skunk Cabbage

I HAVE never seen American Skunk Cabbage for sale in NZ and yet it was popular in the UK. Is it available anywhere?

THIS plant has only recently become available at Jansens and we only have limited numbers. Lysichiton americana is one of the most popular pond plants in the world. Its large yellow spathes appear early in spring when not too much is happening in the pond.

We should have better stocks soon as our grower is going flat out to bulk up this species.
