Water Gardens — Yellow water iris

MY yellow water iris (Iris pseudoacorus) has gone berserk. Help!

THE Yellow Water iris is now a noxious weed and can no longer be sold. You are finding out why I am afraid. You really have no option but to dig, dig and dig again! I do not like the use of weedkillers around ponds, as it is too easy to kill everything. Be careful how you dispose of the dug up plants too, or you will soon have great clumps of it growing in the compost heap.
