Water Gardens — Adding water to pond

IS it safe to top up my pond with tap water? We are on town supply water.

GENERALLY, this is not a problem. In fact, it's probably better than tank or bore water. However, remember to use a water conditioner each time you add tap water to remove any chlorine or heavy metals that may be present.
